Diana’s life and confidence have been shattered by her now-deceased husband, Leo. I like those books too, but it was nice to go down a different track for a change. It’s refreshing to read a novel in which the heroine isn’t a high-flying power-duchess, taking on the ton with a snap of her fingers.
